The 2025 TOCCOA RIVER TAGGED-TROUT FISHING DERBY has ended. Lucky anglers this year return 49 trout tags from their catches on the Toccoa River.
Three of six GRAND PRIZES -- worth up to $550 -- were claimed, and many more anglers were awarded area services, products, and cash awards.
Fish ID tags caught after April 26, 2025, are not valid for award redemption. Tags caught before April 26, 2025 must have been registered (below), mailed and postmarked no later than April 28.

- Fishing Derby open to all ages, no angler pre-registration required.
- Georgia State fishing regulations apply.
- Only Trout Fest 2025 tagged trout are eligible in this derby.
- Trout Fest '25 tagged fish must be caught from March 28 through April 26. Trout Fest '25 tags are not valid and hold no value after April 26, 2025.
- Anglers must remove the tag from the back of the fish, retain the tag for redemption, and complete the TROUT FEST CATCH INFORMATION RECORD below.
- Trout fest tag holders are provided free gate entry (a $10 value) to the 2025 Blue Ridge Trout & Outdoor Adventures Festival, 10 am to 6 pm, April 26, 2024 in downtown Blue Ridge, GA.
- Trout Fest tags are valid for redemption for prizes/award certificates when presented 1) at Event Headquarters at the 2025 Blue Ridge Trout & Outdoor Adventures Festival, 10 am to 6 pm, April 26, 2024 in downtown Blue Ridge, GA; or 2) by mail (tag must be included) to Trout Fest Trout Tags, PO Box 2745, Blue Ridge, GA 30513. Include the tag, your name, address, phone, email and date/place of your catch. MAILED TAGS MUST BE POSTMARKED NO LATER THAN APRIL 28. TAGS MAILED AFTER APRIL 26 ARE NOT VALID FOR PRIZES & AWARDS.
