TROUT FEST'S toccoa river TAGGED-TROUT FISHING DERBY

IT WAS NEW IN 2024! Hundreds of fisherman from all over Georgia, Tennessee and North Carolina came to fish the terrific Toccoa River from March 26 to April 27 in hopes of landing more than a trout ... as TROUT FEST '24 and a creel-full of sponsors awarded gear, guide trips, cash and more upon the return of a tag off the back of 100 trout stocked in the Toccoa River by TROUT FEST '24.

MORE THAN  $8,000 in **AWARDS waited for anglers to catch matching fish tags for gear, guide trips, cash and more! There were 5 GRAND PRIZES WORTH MORE THAN $300 each and dozens of **awards/prizes valued $20 to $299. 

TROUT FEST '25 returns with the Toccoa River Tagged-Trout Fishing Derby next spring when we stock the upper and lower Toccoa River in Fannin County with 100 tagged trout that carry winnings on their backs. Stocking sites include:

• Deep Hole Recreation Area
• Sandy Bottoms Recreation Area
• Tammen Park
• Curtis Switch TVA River Access Site
• Ron Henry Horseshoe Bend Park
