CELEBRATE GEORGIA'S OFFICIAL TROUT FESTIVAL IN THE TROUT CAPITAL OF GEORGIA!
TROUT FEST '21 CANCELED DUE TO COVID-19
Organization opts for safe, healthy festival in spring 2022 ... go to Media
WHAT’S NEXT?Trout Fest made the decision to cancel our 2022 event in adherence to COVID-related restrictions imposed by the city of Blue Ridge to restrict outdoor gatherings under the policies and guidelines of the state of Georgia. Presented and benefitting Blue Ridge Mountain Trout Unlimited Chapter 696, Trout Fest also must follow the policies and guidelines of Trout Unlimited (it's parent, national organization) as these are provided in reaction to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our goal now is to build our support for the vendors and sponsors who choose to join us at Trout Fest ‘22. We’ve got advertising and social media to attack. We’ve got vendors and sponsors to book and support. We’ll meet with guides and outfitters for our live programs. We’ll invite food trucks. We’ll audition live music for the Trout Fest Sound Stage and find the best local craft beer to share the stage. We'll also present fine wines from local brewers and vineyards, while all of this is organized for thousands of visitors in downtown city park in historical Blue Ridge.
MOVING FORWARDMore than 3,000 visitors enjoyed Trout Fest 2019 (our last event prior to COVID-19), learning where, when and how to fish for trout while also booking their fishing guides and mountain cabins; participating in free fly-fishing/trout-fishing instruction; buying their outdoor gear, art and clothing; snacking on great foods and enjoying the Trout Fest Beer Garden with cold beer, wine and ciders.
We’re sure folks are ready to break out when COVID restrictions relax. Aren't you? Make your break to Blue Ridge and join Trout Fest ‘22 to discover trout fishing and the wide range of outdoors recreation in Fannin County – The Official Trout Capital of Georgia!
